So what does that work out as then Rolfe ? Around 8-9% ex scrappage ? As mentioned, around 7% is the highest, if you got 1-2% more ex scrappage then great especially from a dealer.
I already gave the details, but here it is again.
5-door, DSG, ACC, Sunroof, Winter pack, Luxury pack, Flat tyre indicator.
List price £26,445
On the road for £22,500, with scrappage on R-reg Peugeot 306 GTi-6.
Total discount including scrappage £3,945, or 14.9%.

Discount over and above the entire scrappage deal, £1,945 or 7.4%.
I'm happy.

Ordering tomorrow regardless of what happens. Still waiting on my client coming back from holiday which is tomorrow. Then if he cant do me a deal (which I highly doubt) then its off to the internet I go, but either way it will be done tomorrow.
You're in or near Glasgow, did you say? Or your client is? Well, the dealer I got the above from is only about 20 miles from Glasgow. They responded really well to me waving the then-current DealDrivers price at them, even though I wasn't being pushy about it. I think if you've got the time, get your specs finalised, then, get your best internet quotes together and go to two or three dealers saying, well, I'm looking for a good deal and this is the sort of price I'm seeing offered.
By the way, Broadspeed offered me nothing on top of the statutory £2,000 scrappage deal, which was worse than the first dealer I went to (£500 extra discount offered). However, they did offer a discount of £2,227 (8.4%) for the same specs if I didn't take the scrappage deal. That would have been well worth following up for someone without a scrappage car - or for someone with a scrappage car in better nick and with lower mileage than mine. (Wasn't worth it for me, obviously, even compared to the first dealer's £500 offer, as to better that I'd have had to realise more than £273 from the Peugeot, which wasn't necessarily a given, especially as it's now about 400 miles overdue for a service it would have needed if it wasn't going to be scrapped.) I spoke to them on 7th July, so it could still be current.
Rolfe.
