Fixed a rattly trim under the steering wheel.  Looks like someone before me was a bit heavy handed taking them and damaged some of the fittings  :cry:

today i have removed the centre arm rest for a tray, fixed my rear ash tray (even though it doesnt get used) and reglossed all the centre consol

Polished it this morning and took it to the beach for the No Rice run, won a prize in the show and shine too :)

Replaced battery so the car now starts !
Some idiot had put too small a battery in the car so it had exhausted itself.

Also put the new tax disk in.

Just been out and checked it on vag com after nick sorted my actuator wanted to make sure that those codes previously were old ones.....all good no fault code found  :smiley:

Fitted my arm rest, waiting for wheels to have the new rubber fitted and they should on later today and quick clean and polish ready for the weekend of shows  :grin:

Spent the day fixing rattles on the mk6 :angry: , so had the dash tobits, B-pillar trim apart, and stripped the boot out.
I fixed all but 2 rattles.  :cry:
Ones at the back somewere(very loud) , the others the sunroof when on tilt(v.quiet one)

Is it not still under manufactures warranty? Get it sent back!
I simply cannot get time off work to take it back at the moment. :sad:
If i do it i know its done right :wink:
I will take it for the rear rattle and sunroof one though but they will have to wait till later.
