Dremelled the starter motor to get some of the crud off it so i can polish it, took the plastic grill from underneather the bonnet off which is being satin blacked to get rid of all the faded plastic and treated all the bumper,arches and sills to a coating of rapeseed oil which seems to have worked a treat and only £1 for the bottle, happy days.

Made the low fuel warning light come on so put a shedload of diesel in it  :laugh:

Spent the day fixing rattles on the mk6 :angry: , so had the dash tobits, B-pillar trim apart, and stripped the boot out.
I fixed all but 2 rattles.  :cry:
Ones at the back somewere(very loud) , the others the sunroof when on tilt(v.quiet one)

Is it not still under manufactures warranty? Get it sent back!

not actually today but over the weekend  :grin: had my rear spoiler carbon wrapped on saturday morning then drove down to r-tech in the afternoon spent the rest of the day there then sunday over to the forum charity rolling road day  :cool: won a couple of prizes  :smiley: and admired a few of the cars that were in attendance  :cool: also nick found time at the end of the day before i left to sort out a fault with my wastegate actuator rod :afro:
today cleared some old engine codes with vag-com,admired it,checked the oil level and gotta go and fill up later with some v-power as the low fuel light came on as i got home last night  :rolleyes:

NS inny and outy CV boots. Only the inner one had gone but I thought best to do them both while I was in the mood.
