It's simple, you don't give people lifts.

You drive off laughing, especially when it's raining, safe in the knowledge that they should have learnt to drive or had the foresight to have brought their own car.

fitted the headlight covers back on modified the battery cover and re-fitted the catch can hoses also trimmed the drivers sider lower grille cover to fit back into the bumper both l/h and r/h on and middle one out to show the fmic :afro:  :evil:

well i brought a mk2gti a few weeks ago, driveway find.....£150 notes later its sittin on my drive....got a thread goin on mk2 section...
anyway got the heater matrix out this morning just gotta put it back in,
then i thought to myself as this has been sitting for 2yr's think i had better play with the engine just to make sure its ok its a 2.0 16v abf.
guess wot yes its ceased solid :cry: :cry: was hopin this wasn't goin to be the case but it is
so now im on the hunt for a donor lump..
but all in all ive had a good day playin on the dub.....

Emergency drive shaft swap at me ma and da's after broke down in Boston on me way home from Skeg!! Inner CV joint shot to pieces!! Brother in law very impressed that firstly I had a spare drive shaft and secondly it took me less than an hour to do..... :cool:
