I picked up a Magnex backbox off the bay for around 70 quid delivered.

Went from this.


To this after a fair bit of elbow grease will try and get it fitted befor the weekend,come up ok i thought  :smiley:

What times were you running up the strip hurdy? saw your car going up the strip but i was feelin lazy and stayed in the camping area so didnt see your times  :grin:

13.15 and the terminals were all around 120mph. Grip with the NOS was rare as you have to be WOT, so even in the dry I was spinning the wheels up to 70mph. The settings need a little modification to get the most from it. I'm happy that I'll get mid 12's at the Pod :cool:

Bled the brakes and then left dirty great tyre tracks on the private road after testing the braking a little enthusiastically  :lipsrsealed:

Seems the new master cylinder is doing it's job.

Looks like I'm doing some bodywork this summer.

Just need to book it for it's MOT this week.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

got fed up with my noisy serpentine belt tensioner and decided to clean and regrease it.took bout 10 min to do and she drives like a new motor-happy days are back.

Replaced the springs on the rear.......STILL hasn't fixed the bouncyness.

Noticed that the rear damers are leaking and have no dampening effect at all, KW are sending them out today on warranty :)
