Hang on - a remap actually reduces fuel consumption?????
How does that work?!
lol

I could just tell the wife Im making changes to get better fuel consumption............hmmmm.................lol
I use the car to get to work and back during the week, which is mostly motorway/dual carriageway, and the traffic is steady moving, so would probably stick to 'D' mode and drive sensibly to give me the best MPG I can get - that gives me more fuel in the tank for the weekend thrashing ;)

Also, could someone give me a quick list of all the top up fluids I should have in my garage?

People say it does as you have more power / torque you don't have to put you foot down as much when driving normally. Me personally have seen no difference in MPG with a remap and think its all a bit of a myth tbh.

Its not a myth as it was my direct experience and the experience of others who have remapped their cars - especially diesels.  Granted it isn't everybody's experience, but if you aren't aggressive and drive carefully, I have found that I used a bit less fuel - maybe 2mpg but it was noticeable... BTW, the comments were also made tounge-in-cheek

Oh I wish for the days where the MPG column was the last one you'd even consider looking! In fact the lower it was, the better!

Forgot to mention - is the 1 litre oil top up bottle in the boot - in the little holder area on the right? If so, mines missing - seller must have used it already. Should have checked before I bought I guess :(

However, good news is................at least I got the bottle opener!!!!!!! lol ;)
