Like the current set your running. Do you know if they make them in anthracite or simular?

http://wheelsperformancecom.stores.yahoo.net/bbs.html

Only 2 colours available from the above place. Hurdys (black with stainless steel rim protector) or silver. Nothing to stop a refurbish though. Would be an expensive job like, not a cheap wheel at all. They are called BBS CH just in case you didnt know.

Hurdy keep the CH rims on they look

Throw them TD 1.2s in the skip they remind me of all the Astra boys, they are all mad on the TD since the Thurlby T8 was released a couple of years back. They then did a T9 with the BBS CH wheels but they didnt take off on the Astras, god knows why they made it look alot more 'beefy'. Flog them 5 spokes aswel they look  and obviously keep the Pescaras for when you sell the motor.  Also whats the disc size of your front brakes?

Cheers for the link. The BBS wheels look very nice, expensive but i guess you get what you pay for. I too was thinking about the brake conversion, size of discs, costs etc?

Hurdys are 10 pot Tarox brakes (not sure on disc size somewhere between 330-345 I would have thought). Got them at a really good price if I remember. Still your looking at £1000+ for 4 pots.

Im going to go down the S3/R32/Cupra route. 345mm discs on the front and 310mm (I think) on the rears. Cheaper aswel.

Having spent a small fortune on Superbikes over the last 15 years (still am!) I was attracted to the Tarox machined billet calipers which do look very nice. Once i've decided on new wheels I will def have to sort out the brakes. Maybe Tarox maybe refurbed R32 ones, not sure yet.

Yup, loving the CH's

TD 1.2's are staying for trackdays, but I'm being pulled towards some OZ Allegerritas (sp?) at the moment, so may swap at some point for the lighter OZ's as they are HLT too.

Not measured the discs, but I believe they are 340mm. The calipers will take anything from 330mm to 350mm.

The TAROX 10 pots are around £2k and another £200 for the red anodising (plus fitting!), but like they say....you get what you pay for

I've managed to source some OEM Monza II's which are in need of a general refurb. All 4 wheels are in good overall condition with no dents nor are they out of shape. Just the usual kerbing and scratches.
I was just wondering what everyones opinion was about what finish i should go for to suit my diamond black 5 door.
I like them as they come with the D/Cut face but i'm worried about white worm and the durability of this type of finish.
I then began to think of the new 09 monza's with the gloss black inserts which i really like. Then I began to think about getting them powder coated tungsten grey with the gloss black inserts....

HELP !!!

The problem with the Monzas is the white worm. It'll happen sooner or later, even if you look after your rims properly, so that's more £££ you're gonna have to spend. I really like RR's solution to it and may be a lot better than what you're getting (silver).

I have thought about the euro ED30 rims which are black Monzas with a polished lip. Look very nice!
