there are simply too many things wrong with it. you may as well find a mint version for ?2-3k.

you wont bring that car up to scratch for ?2-3k. thats the problem. you'll need to spend the best part of ?4k+.

no charger? 400 quid rebuild or minimum 800 for another one.

But to be honest, if you buy a G60 you have to plan for a charger rebuild.  If its as soon as you buy it no biggie, at least then you know for a fact it isn't going to blow up any time soon!

I really want my dad to buy it so I can fix it for him, but I think me mum would crucify him!

50,000 and the superchargers gone? i dont buy it theres something seriously wrong about that car even his description is rather dubious. alot of turds are flushed through ebay and you cant polish a turd.

I bought a sub of a guy on ebay and he was a VW nut. He had a very nice Coraddo on the drive and he bought it on ebay for ?1300 (N reg - i think), the supercharger was not working. It was a very minor problem and he fixed it. Car is worth ?3000 all day long (FSH, 85,000miles, VGC etc).

So there are bargins if you hunt them out and know what to look for.

that sounds like it could be the fuel cap.
guy in pratical classics had a car kept breaking down like fuel ran out leave it a while and it started. he changed points, plugs, rotorarm, coil, stripped and rebuilt carb overhauled the fuel lines and pump etc. in the end he found out the aftermarket fuel cap on it was not vented when it sould of been and the partial vacuum in the tank was more than the pump could overcome. replaced the cap and it ran perfectly.

simpliest things are the most pain in the backsides to solve.
