Now for my views on the H&R 26mm front arb and Neuspeed 28mm(middle setting) rear arb combo....

The difference is unbeleivable,i have really tested it out today(Milnrow/Kingsway roundabouts for those who know the area) and i'm honestly shocked at the handling of the car.It can really corner at speed now,with just the rear arb it was a little too tail happy for my liking and my inside front wheel would lose traction spinning up and slowing the exit of the corner.Now the front has been fitted,it's elimminated the front wheel spinning and i feel much more confident when driving hard.

I now finnally realise what all you handling freaks have been banging on about all this time,stick your stretched tyes where the sun don't shine,handling is where it's at.
If you haven't got uprated front and rear ARB's,i urge you to bite the bullet and buy a kit asap,you won't be disappointed.

alrite patch how much did you pay for them i need to change the front as me arb is rubber on the drive shaft on full lock

It's going to be tricky if you want the same set up as me,the H&R front bar only comes in a full kit for £320(front&rear),you can't buy it separately.I split the kit with a friend,he took the rear i had the 26mm front.I bought the 28mm Neuspeed rear arb second hand(6 month old) cost me £150.

Both myself and a mate have front and rear arb's,and both agree it really transforms the way the car handles,you can really throw it into the bends and it doesn't get out of shape

Just bought an Eibach rear ARB. I'm so hoping the improvement is noticable as the Golf ain't the best handling car in the world.
How big a job is it fitting a rear ARB?

It's quite easy,just jack the car up and get some blocks under the wheels,then it's just a matter of bolting it on.

Just won this this morning do I need anything else to fit it, I've got Powerflex ARB Bushes? Looking in your pictures you have drop links to the ARB bar?

You should have some clamps aswell,these bolt the arb/bushes onto the rear beam,you can see the same bar as yours in this pic.


Mine has drop links because it's adjustable,i three settings of stiffness to choose from.
