Whats the speaker size for the front doors of a MK3?

They are odd because the original ones are mounted on a big black frame, whereas the actually tweeter itself it tiny. In my case when I put components in I took the whole thing out and wedged my crossovers in, then the new tweeter on top of it, and because it's a tight fit it stays still inside.

hmm cos ive got tweeters in tehre atm, but ive got sme 4" infinity mid range speakers + tweeters and crossovers to go on, but they dont fit in front doors or rear speakers. Im gonna buy a sub + amp and then im gonna rewire the whole audio system and sort it out nicely

No problem chap, your crossovers and tweeters should fit in the dash speaker grills, just, if you're lucky

No problem chap, your crossovers and tweeters should fit in the dash speaker grills, just, if you're lucky
