Just taken my Hella quads and HID kit off my VR so I could fit a Vento front. Unsure whether to sell them or keep them lol.

I had mine done by a guy on ed38 however I believe mikester and couple of others on here have done them so might be best to put a thread up in the mk3 section.

tinting the lights is fairly easy, masking up the shiny surface is the only tricky bit http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=101167.0

I didn't mask mine off, just did them free hand. The masking tape pulls off the chrome otherwise

i used a little bit of silacone to seal them back up as i had it lying around but tbh it would have been fine to reheat the silacone that was already there.. is a simple yet effective mod for those that like the standard headlight shape.

ah forget that. . just been reading about them in the discounts page. maybe them or jamex ones as don't want to spend too much but then might suffer and they not last so long?
