Ummm, why not replace your knackered one with a new direct replacement?

The pump is the right spec for the car and the current one's lasted +15 years.  Why fit a different pump?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

you need an accumalator end off.   you don't need a peressure reg that on the engine.

but why use aftermarket pump the std item,  the pump itseld sits in the pastic houseing whitch is a resovor full of fuel whitch prevents fuel surge and also it's a bloody powerfull pump.   kjet runs very high fuel pressures compared to efi  and not meany aftermarket pumps will do those pressures
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

replace the housing while you're there, gsf sell it and its a gen vag part too.  then go to vag for 4 new rubber moiunts, nuts, pump mounting screws and seal.

There's always loads on eBay, I got mine 4 years ago for about £15 and its run perfect.

Agreed on the above - don't dick about with aftermarket when the right pump is so readily available.
