To be fair there is going over the limit and there is doing 120 for 2 miles. They have no right to talk down to you tho.

Better get the old bus pass out :(

Rather walk tbh.

Calling in alot of favours, done plenty of running about myself for people. Already got a lift to work and home sorted for the next 10 weeks.
sorry but my vaux looks far better than the mk5 gti, thats why i bought it  faster too

Any points on your license as well??

I thought if you went over 100 they took your license and you have to resit your driving test?

Only if you have had it less than 2 years, the probationary period.

On a plus side I wont have any points on my license when I get it back.

Sorry to hear about the ban mate! I cant believe you dont get any points though... thats just crazy (not having a go at you) but I got 8 points on mine and its cost me an extra £400 in insurance this year and I am sure it will be just as much for the next 4yrs. not to mention the £450 fine.

May as well go out and get caught speeding ffs!! atleast that way I can clear my licence and have a fresh slate to start with without worrying about getting points for silly things.

BHullsh!t.... no consistency whatsoeva!!! :undecided:

Yes mate, but a ban on your licence will affect your insurance a lot more than 8 points..

yes it does, or you will have a record stating you have been banned in the past.

to be fair i think you were lucky you didn't lose your license for at least 12 months!

the way people are convicted for motoring offenses really is shocking IMO - there seems to be no consistency  :undecided:
