Let's organize ourselves in a grid like pattern and mobilize ourselves to find the barsteward and kick his head in..... Sorry strike that, report him to the local bobbies. You would think with facebook and twitter and intelligent phones there is something we could do..... Like they do for lost dogs :-) good luck mate

Let the fun begin........Red Gti, full colour coding, DSG, Xenons, Winter pack, Lux pack, Highline, Sat Nav, Sunroof, Leather, Milltek, ABT rear valance, Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics....pescaras :-)

Bad news man.
I usually have my car keys in my cupbaord, which is in the bedroom I sleep in. Nevertheless, Ive had the garage done up, with a new electric door etc, ready for when the GTI arrives ;)

Sorry to hear about this - hope nobody important was hurt ;)

FWIW, regarding the mobilising of "infantry" with car theft, you may recall this link -

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=212943&perpage=40&highlight=&pagenumber=1

A PERFECT example of how the Internet assisted in recovering this poor chap's Skyline.

Awesome read - even if you've seen it before :)

Sorry to hear about this... and know about it first hand as we had two crack 'edz who tried this at mine. Dont worry about the car mate, its more important that your family are safe and unscathed.

p.s You dont really want the car back! let the insurance pay for a new one after all it is what we pay them silly money for

Cheers for the thoughts guys (and claire lol!) yep I hope I never get to see the car again in all honesty, book value is what they normally pay, but what exactly is book value?  I have access to CAP and glasses valuations via HPI tradeweb, so which price am i looking at, retail value or trade in?
