Exactly. If they want it, they'll take it. And no amount of bravado is going to get in their way. That's why you pay a fortune in insurance - peace of mind. Use it.

Its a shame that we have to put up with little theiving phuckwits. People spend alot of time and money getting a nice car and even more on premiums when it gets stolen. Its ok saying use your insurance but it costs you even more on something that shouldnt have happened in the first place.

Copper said its a shame we didnt shoot the little runts who tried stealing mine.
sorry but my vaux looks far better than the mk5 gti, thats why i bought it  faster too

True. But there's little you can do about it. I can only speak personally but while it galls me to pay the premiums, I would rather pay the potential extra than run the risk of getting hurt, or my family getting hurt.

Thankfully, each year so far , my premiums have always gone down.

I'm also in the fortunate position that the car crime is pretty low where I live (in the countryside!), but I do accept there are problems elsewhere. The police are relatively powerless due to lack of resources to catch these little/organised twunts.

THEY know where all the security is, so there's little point in having it tbh!!LOL! Trackers. Pah. Been there, got the T shirt. Found it pretty quickly too

The only thing that we can do is to be vigilant and responsible. And hope it never happens :(
