converting >90 to 90spec wiring?
« on: 27 February 2009, 00:56 »
The title gives it away. Found a good mk2 shell, but its an 89 so obviously running the older loom and fusebox. Whst i want to know is how easy is it to convert to run ce2, using digifant1?
can the existing car loom plug into a 90 spec fusebox using the 90spec digi engine loom, or would it involve ripping the whole lot out, something i have no patience at all for?

failing that, does anyone do a plug & play conversion kit (if they dont, they should, would make a small fortune!)??

Thanks

oh, and no suggestions of megasquirt / standalone, i have neither the money nor the knowledge to do that sort of thing at the moment

the whole car loom needs swapping, or you need to splice the engine loom into your old engine plug.  loom swap will take you a day at most ;)
