If you are going to bother doing it, get the 6 line as this includes the flexible pieces over the rear beam.
Aren't the braided lines just to replace the rubber unions - not the whole length? If the main lines are shot - I wouldn't have thought there wasn't a stainless equiv - just plain 'ole copper.

If you're going as far as you say you are then while you're at it you might as well move up to 256 or 280mm front brakes and the 16V master cylinder.You'll get much stronger brakes with less fade resistance.There's a brake 101 that I put together a while ago here which might be useful.
