ive got a dodgy connection on my right numberplate light. sometimes it doesnt work, and if i open my boot then slam it closed it works again. need to check the connections.

the connectors in the numberplate lights fark up easy, had mine in bits they were all green with oxyidisation on the conections

The reason arking can cause blown bulbs is cause it's constantly heating up the bulb and then cooling ect.

Check the "circuit board" on the bulb holder.

There are lines of "metal" that go to the connectors, maybe there is damage to them or a load of dirt etc.
Also check the bulb holder itself.

Bugger, I'll see if the fuse is ok, which one is it?


Very unlikely to be the fuse as that would blow both sides!

I could just swap the bulb holder with another one couldn't I? LOL, as I've got one for the CL lights. I'll do that and see if that helps. Cheers Len.
