Can you fit the pancake pipe to this aswell or is there no need?

as in the uprated pancake pipe from Forge??

urm its designed for the TDI's  not GIT's GTI's

AFAIK the diameters are different

Thats what I thought but Dai said they do them for the 1.8t he gave me a link to a site that does them wasnt Forge though.

chances are that one won't fit the Forge item but i could well be wrong - info seems pretty scarce on them tbh  :undecided:

any real differnece between the SMIC and FMIC? or just really the location

from what i've read you'll experience less lag with the SMIC  :undecided:

less lag you say??? Mmmm wonder why that is, so they both would give similar power gains

i'd imagine it's to do with the SMIC having a smaller volume, and thus taking a shorter period of time for the IC to fill, the problem is with a smaller volume the IC isn't going to be able to cool as much air as quickly as a bigger IC, causing the power to drop off quicker than one with a large volume / more efficient cooling, similar to how a smaller turbo spools up quicker, but doesn't pull for as long.

Here you go, only problem is it includes the throttle body to intercooler pipe as well which I wouldn't need!
