Yes mate - when I said radio adapter I meant aerial adapter.

Hopefully by next weekend they will have turned up and I can get it all fitted - just need to decide on a compactish sub/box/amp combo for the boot now.....  :undecided:

It looks as if all your questions have been answered.

Do you know what sort of sub / amp combo you are going to get? My Punch ones are reasonably compant. You could easily get away with having just one but Im greedy and wanted two lol :D

Not decided on Sub and amp yet - for 8 years, until I sold my last car with it installed, I had a Rockford punch 10" sub with punch amp, and it served me very well! Fantastic bass for such a small enclosed box.

There is so much out there on the market it's hard to work the best bargains - especially as I don't really want to spend over £200 for the lot. :grin:

You are going to need to do some really hunting then. I was lucky and got my stuff for mates rates of a friend and got all that for £195 :)

Well after a recommendation off a mate I went and ordered this:

Well it all turned up at work - looks good for the money - now I just need to get it fitted - depending on the weather etc, and if I can't find one online already - I may take some pics and do a "How to guide for fitting a Sub into Golf GTi with minimal effort and not taking the whole car apart!!!" :)
