Please help!!!

Hi guys iv just brought a 1.8 gti and im picking it up next week :)
What would you do.....its done 130k

I would love to get it remaped and a dump valve fitted also i would like a milltec back box sooo do i get the back box then get the dump valve and re-map done my r-tec???

Im just not to sure where to start

Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

Mk4 golf 1.8t AUM Hybrid K03s. Custom Mapped by R-tech to 260bhp. CR hybrid turbo Audi TT injectors / fuel pump, Forge tip,THS FMIC,Carbonio CAI, Full milltek turbo back, N249 bypass, Fully poly bushed, Weitec coils. Genuine R32 front bumper and Genuine R-line rear, Genuine Porsche twists, Anniversary black interior.

At 130k.. i'd run it as it comes for a month or two to iron out any problems that could just be made worse by the remap. If you're only getting the backbox there's no need to get it before the remap, it'll make no difference. With regards to the diverter valve.. see the sticky topic at the top of the mk4 board "Can I fit a dump valve" :afro:

run it for a month to see if you have any issues etc if your happy and the cars running ok then get yourself a forge 007 dv put on then you need to ring nick @r-tech and get your map done  :grin: and feel the difference :afro: then get a backbox fitted or like rhyso says all 3 at the same time :laugh: :wink:

Yeh i think if i wait a while b4 i get the remap that will be best...Am i right in saying that r-tec make there own dv??
