Hello Alex,

Welcome to the forum m8.

If I was you I would wait a few weeks before getting a remap carried out.  You want to make sure the car is up to scratch, give her a good service, good set of plugs good oil, good air filter, check all the vac pipe, clean the TB, check the DV or bin it and get an uprated version then get the car plugged in to vagcom and make sure all is ok.

When your ready for a remap just make sure you have a few quid spare to spend on the car just incase  the remap brings unknow faults to life.  Normaly £150ish will cover the worse, ie 4x coild packs and a MAF.

ahh you no what us young lads are like aslong as it makes a nice noise im not fussed hwat its got written on it lol

Whats the costs for a r-tec remap then and where do you do it as i live in norwich but have a girlfriend in leicester :)

just sent you an email bout a remap but i see you on here so though id ask you now, easier on here gives me time to think bout what im gona say. lol

just wondered where bouts in kent your goin tomoz an what sort of time you r hanging around till
 i want a remap but have an engine light on for something to do with the waste gate would you stil be able to carry out the remap?

Yeh ill run it for a few weeks nick then i will give you a ring yeh money is to much of a problem.Could you do the engin service and plug the vagcom in b4 you do the remap or is that not your thing?
