Ravens mk2 48hour surgery...
« on: 08 February 2009, 18:54 »
As some of you know, trudy was officially dying and she had given up hope but......

After a gruesome 48hour race against time to give her a heart transplant she is now recovering, the work started on mcdonalds uttoxeter anyway while waiting for the rac who refused to take us to derby so had to build her back up again but after a few hours friday and saturday she is now running absolutly amazing, shes alot quicker, more responsive, doesnt over heat, everything works except the heaters which i will do in the week, shes had new oil, cambelt, waterpump, headgasket and been skimmed....

i must say how impressed i am as jenna aka TheRaven getting her hands dirty and helping to do alot of the work

heres the pics ;)

Doing it in a Maccy D car park

Jenna, you clearly need to get some Silver bulbs that flash orange for your rear intimidators , I got some from the bay cheap enough for my M3 Crystal's and now you can't see the orange from the bulb, unless it flashes and they flash brighter than the standard orange bulbs too so are more noticeable.

yeh we were going to paint the rocker cover but on a very tight budget we had to leave it, shes still running like a dream now, doesnt go over half temperature before the fan comes on, usually runs about a quarter now so all is good ;) need a big sign now, headgaskets undertaken £250 including parts... lol
