Just seem some alloys on edition 38 that have been redrilled from 4 to 5 stud. Two of the holes are untouched the other 3 cross over and are then filled. I can't see alot of info on this subject so was wondering is it safe?

Why bother, lot more choice in 4x100 than 5x100 or just use adaptors.

Didn't realise there was a shortage of decent styles in 5x100. I was considering changing to 5x100 from my mk3 to utilise the bigger brakes on my mk2. So would you say stick with the 4x100 256mm?
Have you tried having a skek @

Gives you fair amount of info even if you don't buy from them.
