Well done. Thanks for the photos. We had a 2.9 VR6 with original chains at 215012 miles.
I am at a loss to figure why you needed to do them at 125000.
It was 135000

and if you looked at the pics on the first page you would see there is quite clearly damage to the upper guide rail, also there as a whole centimeter of slack in those chains going by the timing makes...
Google vr6 timing chains and have a look at just how many have failed at around the 120k mark, and the damage done...
It was really for peace of mind
