Is that the way you brought Matt's gti home? He said it was quite an entertaining ride

Awwww yes.

Bless, he's a bit of a squealer.

I love driving at night. When I had finals exams in the last year of uni, I used to go out once or twice a week and drive aroud to relax. It'd be around midnight, and coz it was summer, the nights were cool but not cold so I'd drive around with the window down.

Loved it.

Might go again this weekend. Never done a night cruise in the mkv.
Thats exactly what i did in the beetle, will be in the golf this summer, can have all the windows open and its bright at 1am as it is 3pm during winter

Mass dub night cruise to a central location?

Initially meet somewhere like Heston Services and do a lap of the M25 starting at midnight, with scheduled stops at each of the services around the loop. (3AM start would be better, especially in the summer).

Used to go on random drives all the time, just standing around chatting and then someone would say, " I'm off to .. anybody coming" cue big convoy to the seaside normally get there early hours kip in the car or chat for an hour or 2 then mess about on the beach and in the sea then drive back. They were the days, will be doing night driving when I get the golf back on the road :)

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

I used to go on a lot of random night drives before I took up 9-5 employment and a mortgage

Used to love just driving about, empty roads with some good music on, smoking a fag out the window..... ahhhh the good old days!
