Swapping iso pins over

Is it possible to remove and swap pins over in the iso for my headunit?
Need to swap the yellow and red wires around so ive got both power cables wired up the right way round (as its perm to switched and visa versa atm)

im not sure if i need to do this?
I have a pioneer head unit but it forgets stations etc when i turn engine off, is this a VW specific issue? it worked fine in my peugeot. do i need to swap these pins? if so why?

the pioneer loom should have bullet connectors on it to swap the red and yellow over to stop it losing its memory
