New head unit :D

The missus bought me a new head unit for Christmas, the Alpine CDE9880R.

I fitted it boxing day, only just got round to taking pictures of it!

Slacking I know lol




It has an iPod connector already attatched! Now, my missus being the kind and caring girl she is, decided to ask Halfords for tips. Fail.

They suggested the iPod wire to go through the glove box, but me - being cleverer than any Halfords worker (no offence) thought this a more novel idea!

So this is now my interior as it stands at night...

Really happy with the headunit though, works well, got decent sound levels to it too! And you can control the iPod through the HU itself and not the iPod which was a bit confusing at first, but I get it now :)

Cool man,  i have this - sh!t pic i know phone quality  :shocked:



Bluetooth enabled, USB for 6000 songs, Ipod connection, Love It  :drool: Although ive had it 6 months or so now

Ive got the same head unit aswell toro, very pleased with really like the ipod control to as you can shuffle all the song through the head unit  :smiley:

and the three pre outs pretty handy too

I was surprised she remembered what one I pointed out tbh, seeing as it was like 5 months BEFORE Christmas I spotted it lol!

I've got that one as well, paid £100 for it like a year ago from CarAudioDirect, my iPod however goes to the glovebox lol!
