help please

i have just changed my disks and pads on my tdi golf mk4 and when i start it up and press the brake STOP cums up on the dash i have conected the brake pad  sensor up any ideas thanks  :cry: :cry:

did the old pads have wire's? ps you have got the cap on havn't you?

yes the cap is back on and the new wire is on  :undecided:

just changed my rear calipers and this light came on when the fluid cap was of but went of when it was put back on try resetting it with vag com is there enough fluid in your bottle :grin:

That shouldn't make any difference - Besides, that would cause the brake pad warning light to illuminate, not the 'STOP' check brakes message to come on the display. ;)
