Car = 3k
Mods = 10k (including labour)

Total = £13k FWD car with 300bhp and is useless in anything but dry weather

or

Will piss over a 300bhp golf in every area (and any other 300bhp hatchback) and you will have change for a holiday!

ah yes you're one trick solution to everything

so tell me - why did you mod your CTR???

:D  PMSL.

In his own words, the CTR was a car that he didn't love, so sold, yet buys a Mk4 Golf, joins a Golf forum under the alias of "JKCTR", & then slates it off in almost every other post! :D  I take it he bought it without test driving it, then?  :undecided:
Current Car:- 2014 GTI PP manual, white.

Use the money as a down payment on a mortgage then and keep the car he likes so much instead of on a depreciating asset?

So advising him to invest 13k in a 415 bhp Scooby which will be worth about £10k in 6 months, is the way forward is it?!  :rolleyes:  Not to mention it will be more expensive to insure & run (WRX's are thirsty beasts, net alone that thing) than a 300 bhp Golf!

Subaru = The comfort of a cardboard box, and the same build quality to boot
Golf = 6 times cheaper than a Subaru, but not 6x slower, so better value for money, and a sweeeeeeet interior, better than a £12k Subaru equivilent!
