chould fit them but no need, but you'll also need the bigger oil pump
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

the oil jets arn't about lubrication there about cooling.   pistons need F all oil problem with oil squirters is they can get to much oil and the scraper ring has troubel dealing with the excessive oil film on the bores, hence why some vw engine's got a reputation for useing oil
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

just buy a 2.0 agg lump. any myths about them not revving are just untrue.
iv only a 268' newman and it pulls strong to 6.5k, but the torque drops off  around 5.5. il try find my rr plot.
i got my 2.0 for £80 delivered and it was perfect. around £150 all in with gasketts, fluids. cheaper than a rebuild.
what pistons you using for the 2.1?

don't have any spare 95.5mm crancks, they come from aaz motors but they have habbit of eating keyway out so quite valuable
