Hi, just thought I'd introduce meself. I'm Andy, mid 30's and live in Derbyshire.

Just bought an 8v mk3 in Mystic Blue (the missus calls it Purple).

I bought this as a running project as I have now given up biking after 20 yrs due to a broken neck thanks to a farmer not keeping his sheep in his fields.

I will post some pics when it's warm enough to go outside and take some.

Anyway, I don't want to bore you anymore so........hello

I have had to give up riding alltogether with the injuries........plus you know what state all the roads are like round the peak district. That's why the golf hasn't been lowered.

i'm in Derby but girlfriend is at Buxton Uni so you might see a white MK3 gti every now and again. mines standard tho apart from a DTM exhaust (Which is soon going)

seen another white MK3 once in Buxton. my reg starts M905 if ya see me 


Which road the sheep get ya?

Hi Mate,
I'll keep me eyes peeled when I'm out and about.

Sheep got me on one of the 'B' roads that joins onto the A623 between Bradwell and Tideswell, jumped out through a hole in the wall and I continued to go neck first through a dry stone wall

On the plus side, it got me 5 months off work and I am a lot better than the sheep

Completely totalled the Fireblade as well
