Both RedRobin and Joesgti have boost pods. Joe fitted it himself and so is probably the best one to ask.

or maybe even http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=68927.0
fitting depends very much on the guage type.

For the DEFI you route only electrical wires through to interior (as the seperate sensor converts air pressure to an electrical signal under the bonnet)

For other guages you route just a boost line (air) through to the interior

Both will take live/earth and illumination from inside the car (fusebox)

lol if your on about fitting a boost guage you must be wrong? i rang up awesome for a quote and they said around the £400 with labourmark as it takes upto 3hours to fit correctly as they have had problems later on with installs going wrong.

they said something about removing interior parts and routing wires so they dont get damaged or worn down plus placing it in the correct place??

i could be wrong as i have not done it personaly.

I would say it took me no more than an hour once I worked out what I was doing.  The route for the pipe took a while to figure out and obviously I was careful not to damage anything.

Having the forge DV makes it easier too as you can use the second take-off on the valve which the DV uses.
