Drink driving is far worse, which reminds me, did anyone catch that programme last night on drink driving?  Someone had 10 malibu and cokes and only had 4 milgrams on their breath and the limit is 35, unbelievable.

Yes, I saw the TV prog and thought it was excellent. The scary thing is that so many people think they are okay to drive when if reality they aren't. Very simple for me because I don't drink alcohol at all - Not a single drop for about 20 years.

There's currently a thread in Chat Nonsense about a guy here who has just been banned for 17 months plus £400(?) fine and he was breathalysed the following day!!

Just had a brief read of this post. Sorry to read about the incident. I hope everything gets sorted and glad to hear no one was hurt. If you do decide to come to Wolverhampton let me know.

I dont think you should be aloud a drop at all when driving because how do we know when we are legal or not?

I think they allow us to have a little so people will continue to drink drive and they can effectively make money from it. Apparently the fines in Greece are so extortianate for speeding no one does it. The fines over here a relatively cheap hence why people continue to do so and the government keep coining it in. My opinion anyway.
sorry but my vaux looks far better than the mk5 gti, thats why i bought it  faster too

Having had several family homes around Greece, I can't think of many roads that provide an opportunity for speeding! However, we did move from there to another country about 20 years ago.

Wealthy Greeks, as I recall, don't usually take much notice and just pay the fines or 'bribe' someone - It's normal and acceptable in the Eastern Mediterranean (or at least it was!).

.... x2 !! They're excellent even though their premises look like a backstreet Asian mini-cab firm! Nigel and his brother did mine : -

Thanks. I had already decided that I might use them depending on if they can paint the lip red too!

....They can. Friend Nathan (Greenouse) was the one who recommended them to me and he has had red rim edges : -

A1 recently did some Mk6-style Monza's with black inserts for him : -

But don't be expecting premises to match the quality of their work!! : -

Phone 01902 871 422 - Ask for Nigel and say that Nathan and Robin recommended you. Unfortunately they have no email or web site as yet but they've been doing their art as a family business for 12 years.
