Illyun, everyone has given you enuff of a telling off already but i understand how easy it is as i do alot of long distance driving myself, just glad nothing happened to you or anyone else. with regard to fixing the alloy will be very tricky, im sure the lip on those alloys is detachable?!?  :undecided: because it acts as protecting the alloy from slight kerbing, if thats the case you need to speak to a BBS dealer to order a new one. If you have damaged the face itself to what extent? is it minor surface scratches or is it deeper?
if you speak to Greenouse he has pointed me in the direction of A1 wheels in Wolverhampton which did the lip on his Huffs in red.

Long-distance travelling tends to wear me out so I always have a bag (or two) of sweets and either red bull or relentless.

Until recently, I never took breaks but the weekend of the Stafford meet, I'd done something like 500 miles and I was starting to have longer blinks. Twice I had to pull over at the parking spots on the A34 and take a five minute break.

I also always do something different to try to keep me awake, like turn the AC on full-blast cold for ten minutes. Then perhaps the radio for another twenty minutes, then back to CD. Then maybe wind the window down....you get the idea.

As long as your okay. Learn to recognise your limits. Dunno much about alloys but let us know how it turns out.

Could have been alot worse mate not like you did it on purpose just need to be aware of the tell tale signs and pull over next time. I would get the tracking etc checked out aswell and check the hub/wheel nuts etc.

Thanks for the verbals everyone - have to admit, I wasn't even thinking about how serious it was when I posted it as I'd just returned and was in a daze.  But the comments are right, I should have taken note of the warning signs and its a lesson never ever to drive when that tired again... Its only an alloy but could have been a lot worse.   :lipsrsealed:  Thanks for that advice briang - I was about to order some from Philip at PWMotorsport tomorrow.  Looks like I'll give spit and polish and A1 a ring and see what they say.
