Gotta be 5 doors, for me it just looks more finished, not sure why tbh, either way great mota.

I've voted 5 dr...purely because of the added practicality. The front doors are shorter and lighter than the ones in the 3 door and this means you can actually reach the B pillar and the seatbelts without contorting yourself silly.  :wink:

Ah yes, as a 3 door owner I quickly learned to use my other arm for the "awkward seatbelt reach Manoeuvre"

I went for the 3 door because at the time the 5 door had only just been relaeased and TG magazine said in their review the VW designers were less satisfied with the look of the 5 door, mind you they also said avoid the 18" wheels as it spoils the ride.

I have a tinsy weeny garage and the shorter front door means I have a better chance of being able to squeeze out of the car once parked. Must lose some weight in the new year...

5 door more practical, i hate the effort involved getting people in and out the back, but 3dr looks better in my opinion. :smiley: :smiley:

always had 3 doors but i think it looks good with 5 doors, if i needed 5 doors then i wouldnt hesitate in buying one, both good
