Hi all
Ive been getting stuck into taking my old head off today and ive come across one or two problems.
It says in the ever useful haynes manual that my injectors will just pull out from the head but im struggling to get them out and dont want to break anything is this correct? Do i just need to give them more welly or are there any other ways to do this?
Also im struggling to get at the manifold bolts how do I disconnect the exhaust manifold from the down pipe so i can just pull the head out and deal with it on the bench (need a special tool?)
Got tomorrow off again so will be carrying on with the job cant wait to get it finished no more tappet noise and no more smoke from the shot stem seals and maybe some gains from the port & polish
