wow what a change!  haven't been on here for ages now...almost forgot my username/password! - trying to get to the magical 1k miles as quick as possible.

nice to see a change to the forum format - looks, well, "updated."  And good to read the new topics discussed - forgot how interesting and informative some of these topics are!!!

Hope you guys are enjoying your new cars (whatever they may be) as much as i am.  The car has actually exceeded my expectations and is performing brilliantly.  On the subject of wheelspin and poor traction - haven't come across any issues - seems like its a tyre issue as i have conti 2s.

Happy thraping!!!

ILL - ARE YOU TEMPTED BY THE 4WD in the R36 not a Range Rover!

I've sold the Mini as I never used it - it had 400 miles on it!

LOL... I don't mind any car, as long as its got a VW badge on it   I might grow out of it one day.   As for the R32, I absolutely loved it and reckon that my current manual Edition 30, nice as it is, doesn't compare to the R32 is DSG guise.  But the R32 has one fatal flaw - mpg

At 244 bhp, my Revo Stage1 GTI has similar performance to the Ed30 and I don't get any wheelspin problems. It's down to the driver to use a sensitive right foot and feed the throttle progressively. Same with 270 bhp versions.
