Wow, what a lot of work  :o, the 9a engine is the one to go for as the block height is the same as the 1800's. Must have paid a few ???'s for the ABF motor and all the goodies. Let us know how it goes when it's finished. ;)

They cut him a pretty good deal actually. He let them have it in August to start work and they are charging him about 1500 total for the whole bang. Engine and all. A hell of a lot of work considering the Audi is a longitudinal engine and the 2.0 liter was Transverse mounted in the golf. lol. Alot of little problems have been arising they have to get by. Can't wait to see the finished product. The shop he is using does some nice work if anyone is interested but their back log is a mile long.  :)
