Pagid and Brembo aren't cheap parts so it does suggest as others have said that something else is wrong somewhere.

I recon that the caliper is dragging ...wrong grease on the slider pins ….I had that happen on my Mk7...to front & back...seemed ok for first 2,000miles, then they started to stick more...

hi just an update had the car in at swift motor sport Newcastle had the car fully checked nothing wrong with the car they said that the back of the pads and slider pins had copper grease on them which cause a problem with the abs unit ,,, renewed the discs and pads with genuine vw , and re greased the slider pins with lithium grease as vw recommends ...fingers crossed ,, waiting for refund from the previous garage

Copper grease will NOT cause a problem with the ABS unless it gets onto the ABS reluctor ring itself....I have used it may times on VAG cars & never had any problems...

However I have had problems with copper grease going "hard" over time due to salt, heat etc...so I use special high temp grey lithium grease made by Loctite...similar to VW "hot bolt paste"...

The slider pins on the front VW calipers now have a plastic/or rubber bush on one pin..these will "absorb" grease & swell & stick the pin solid in the hole...Been there done that....you have to use the recommended TRW "PFG-110" grease...

Long gone are the days when you could just use copper grease on all the slider pins etc...
