Noticed the GTI is now listed on Drive The Deal with a £1600 discount, including the £500 dealer contribution.

Unfortunately work commitments mean I'm not going to be able to get to my dealer for three weeks, but I'm fairly confident I'm going with 3 door, Tornado Red/black roof, City Braking pack, climate control, adjustable passenger seat, and probably the Beats audio system. So much for keeping it simple!
Current – Mk7 Golf R, Night Blue, 5dr, Manual / Mk7.5 Golf R, Indium Grey, Estate, DSG

You lose the lower half of the boot with Beats so I elected to give it a miss as my Brompton would not fit.

Bar colour i ticked the same boxes as you get used to your comforts

Ah, thanks for the heads up, that might change things. The last thing I want to do is compromise the boot space on an already small car.

I caught this in the nick of time, the website has brochures and price lists which confirms this.

Having driven one now I will not miss it as what that have succeeded with on the up! is the fake noise sounds realistic unlike on the R, 40 minute soon with salesman and us both laughing
