No and it might not be "dynamic", it could just be a manual selection of ride firmness. It will be another off the shelf solution from the same OEM that VW buy it from (can't remember who it was I found was the OEM).
It’ll probably be more like the optional Sports Performance Pack (SPP) in the outgoing Polo GTI which gives you a second (‘Sport’ mode) setting. Although optional on the outgoing Polo GTI, it was a cheap option (£245 from memory), so it was never going to be as versatile or clever as DCC on the Golf. I’ve got SPP on my 2016 Polo GTI because it was cheap, so IMO because of the cost, deciding to have it was a bit of a no brainer.
The ‘Sport’ setting gives you;
- firmer ride (and it is pretty firm!)
- more weighty steering feel
- sharper throttle response
- increased engine noise through a soundaktor.
The ride in an outgoing Polo GTI without the SPP option is somewhere between ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’ modes in a car equipped with SPP.
I tend to leave mine in ‘Normal’ mode. I’d like to be able to select ‘Sport’ steering and throttle response but keep normal ride and engine noise but unfortunately that’s not possible. Maybe it will be possible in the new Polo GTI?
