Freewheel + start/stop on DSG Question

Sounds like only the petrol engines switch off. My facelift GTD DSG coasts at just over 500rpm but never switches off completely

mines a gti pp and it revs at around 800 when coasting, not sure whats what..lol

How does the PAS steering work with engine off?

My 2016 mk.7 switches of the engine just before actually coming to a halt (if I have forgotten to switch off start/stop) and you can immediately feel the steering go very heavy.

It is dangerous, i almost have "crashed" in to my garage several times when the engine switch of and i can´t steer..

On Eco mode I get mine to coast in 'E' but never had the engine switch off while coasting....
