I have 1700rpm when 100kph.. . Some help?

I checked today - at a level 60mpg the rpm was just over the 1500rpm mark. I would estimate it was 1600rpm.

We should have the same?!  .. Or i woud have lower Rpm due to my bigger wheels

i will check with GPS the speed, and the obdelven the Rpm..

If you have bigger wheels then you should have lower profile tyres which will have the same radius as 18" tyres.

I have 235/35 so the radius is a littel bit longer. But the best with that is that my speedometer is very a  accurate. Only 2km / h error shows it now

I thought they should be the same too.

I can check my speedometer with my TomTom. I know the last car indicated 65mph when the satnav said 60 mph.

I don't have an OBDeleven. Though the stop/start is really annoying so I may get one.

The rev counter markings are 1500rpm then 1750rpm. My digital needle is a definitely closer to the 1500 mark.
