Given that timescale it will make absolutely no difference

Was hoping someone would say that! Have done a more accurate re-calculation of my expected mileage and it's going to be around 10400 on 1st Sept so am just going to go with the later option as it is more convenient, and I have the following day off as well should there be any issues. Fingers crossed! :rolleyes:

Usually you have 1k grace for warranty purposes... I have been over 400 miles and had no issue with warranty work after. If it was my own car I would always just get it in before mileage or date is due (difficult on my work car where I can do anything from 500 to 1500 miles a week).

Just been to my dealer and got my car booked in for it's first service. Nice and easy, going in at 10 on Saturday morning, will be done while I wait too. And I can have a complimentary bacon roll and hot drink! Hopefully the experience on the day will be just as smooth too and there was no problem with my 'no wash' instruction :smiley:
