Or you could have tried the "really didn't expect this damn snow... I'm going to have to upgrade to the 4WD... it's for our safety you understand... what a spot of bother!"

Guys it wasnt for the lack of trying am telling ya......but end of the day I have a new Gti on order so a good result. and I have changed from Pure White to Tornado Red which I think is iconic to the Gti

Well after all the hassle and inconvenience from Vw and the car being in the garage more times than I can keep track of, the decision was made on Friday from head office in Milton Keynes that we had a strong case to allow us to have an exchange vehicle.
So the order was placed this afternoon for a new build Gti with a priority order. So the end result was worth the wait and a good out come as been achieved.
I will have a 6-8 week build time so happy with that. Am getting to keep my White Gti till then, but it's going into the dealers on Thursday to get a steering rack fitted!!
