They're still available at that price mate. That is including delivery. You need to speak to Scott at vw racing and he will sort you out. There were 10 available in stainless or black tips.

I have the 3" Race with Res and No Downpipe (as of now) Sound is pretty decent, about 15% over stock but is much deeper. Not much happens in low revs, just a nice deep grumble but once you it 4k-7k it comes alive, but it not the sound of a non res - its more deeper and powerful sounding if you no what i mean, its not wharpy and ricey.

Well in that case it sounds exactly what I'm after. Cheers

+ 1 sounds like what I'm after too, until now never knew of any who had the 3" res fitted. Maybe I need to keep my options open again.

Richie seems you got a great deal then on this from VWR. These are priced around £850 usually!!

I got the full TBE Milltek 3" Race system for £259 on Ebay, Downpipe was damaged so sold that for £160. so really i got the 3" Race Cat back for £100 and it only had 2 small dint's in it......what a bargain

I was one of the watchers on that!

I din't buy it because the backboxes were slightly dinted (or from the pic they were) and was unsure if that would affect performance!

Suppose my loss is your gain, id of only of bid it up!

Can you put any pics of it up Richie, with the R logos etc

Also when you fitting it?

Another review would be fantastic!

Ok so I've now had time to have a good look in the box. And it's got the 2 larger boxes on the back which I take it means it's the type that meets eu standards. Which means it's going to be really quite???

I'm assuming you have the EU ones as this pic, its a rocco system but essentially same components

Not seen these listed in the UK by Milltek stockists sites as been trawling through today to order the adaptor to the OEM pipe for mine

Volume of the silencers is going to give you your answer, have VWR given any comment as none of the pics are of that system on the advert

Vw racing have been great to deal with. They were unaware that it was these systems they had a stock of. They've now sourced the smaller twin rear silencer system for me,which is the one I was wanting, and exchanged it for me. The original ebay add has now been altered stating what system they're offering. Big thumbs up for their customer service.

Great news that Sam, Matt and the boys have sorted this so promptly
