ok, nothing in compression tank, no smells, no smoke nothing, nudda, zilch, zero, nothing what so ever that has pointed to a head gasket so could this be down to short journeys and not much use over the last week?  :undecided:

i will be doing a massive journey this weekend so can up date whats happened etc

Could be the oil cooler failed, drain and refill the oil then bypass it (join pipes together) and see if it comes back.
