Running higher than necessary tyre pressures will wear out the centre of the tyres.
But then you dont seem to keep any car long enough to find this out!
So why are you persistantly giving out bad advice?
Do you work in a tyre fitters by any chance?
Hahahaha ok Len if saying 36psi in front tyres in winter months is bad advise and 32 in hot months is bad advise then I sussgest you have a little research and read on vw recommended tyre pressures.
I had a 16v for 18 months and I still own my vr6 and 8v gti.
