Oh, how about a Corrado??? I have a nice 16v that needs a little emmmm, work.  :undecided: :grin:

I have owned both a mk2 8v and a mk4 gti, at your price range there would be no point in a mk4 as you would want a remap and suspension therefor going over budget but I would defiantly reccomeded a mk2 I have been in a friends mk3 and it just feel a lot more like a barge then the mk2  :laugh:

Plus the mk2s look awesome and don't rot as much  :grin:

I feel it s I has my mk2 for a year and my dad as had his for 4 both with over 140000 miles and no rot...
